Kunagi is an employee of a cat cafe with no memory of his past who works there alongside a brother and sister, Gaku and Kaoru. He often wears a blank expression but may appear very expressive at times such as when he experiences distress.
He is known to be very protective of cats, as shown when he threatened one of the customers for attempting to pick up one of the cats in the cafe.

His eyes are blue and he appears to always be tired with the eye bags under his eyes and he has long blueish black hair which has a cat bell as a hair tie.
Kunagi is first shown wearing a white shirt and jeans with a black cat apron, but eventually wears armor with a welding mask while retaining his signature cat apron.

Kunagi is usually clever, serious and takes his job seriously, he can be suprisingly agile in order to escape the horde of cats, though he is shown to be prone to extreme guilt when he has to defend himself directly against a horde of cats, often to the point of crying and begging for forgiveness, especially when using a sprinkler to deter them.

Kunagi is also known to have very extensive knowledge of cat facts, often mentioning it when he is on action.
